		Island Teak True Teak Oil How to Order Island Teak True Teak Oil is the original and only teak oil which contains oils and waxes extracted from teak wood. We extract these essential oils and waxes from old growth Burma teak to provide a nourishing and protective coating to all varieties of wood. Island Teak True Teak Oil is for both interior and exterior use. Directions: Apply Island Teak True Teak Oil moderately with a clean cotton cloth allowing the oils to penetrate the wood. Wipe off excess oil in one hour and buff with a clean cotton cloth and then let harden for 24 hours and then apply again as previously directed. Additional coats deepen the luster and provide additional weather protection. Will not darken. Will not attract dirt. Naturally hardening. Will not crack or chip. Waterproof. Does not require heavy sanding when re-applying. Cures by oxidation not evaporation. Avoid applying in direct sunlight. When cured, naturally UV light resistant. VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) Island Teak True Teak Oil 30 g/l Ideal for marine use Apply to freshly sanded wood with a clean cotton cloth in thin layers. Wipe down and buff in one hour. Allow to harden for 24 hours and then repeat. Two coatings are sufficient for teak decks. Additional coatings will enhance lustre and protection. For brightwork apply additional layers. Avoid applying in direct sunlight. Cloudy days or evenings are fine. Naturally UV resistant when hardened. Dispose of used cloths by immersing in water or laying flat.
